About the Role
At Toll, we move the businesses that move the world. We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Project Operations Coordinator to join our Toll Global Forwarding Projects team in Brisbane. Reporting to the Regional Head of Project Logistics ANZ, you will play a key role in supporting project logistics operations, coordinating customer requirements, managing financial administration activities, and contributing to the growth of our Projects and Resources business.
A day in the life of a Project Operations Coordinator at Toll
- Coordinate project logistics activities across Australia.
- Support the Regional Head of Project Logistics ANZ with operational and administrative requirements.
- Prepare project costings and process invoicing activities.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions.
- Build strong relationships with project customers to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
- Conduct cargo inspections at airports and ports as required.
- Contribute to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' experience in global forwarding and/or the specialised transport industry.
- Operational and/or business development experience within the logistics sector.
- Understanding of freight forwarding operations and industry regulations.
- Experience working with customers in a service-focused environment.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- MSIC and ASIC cards will be provided by Toll
- Dangerous Goods training will be provided.
Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of international and domestic freight forwarding operations.
- Experience in project logistics, heavy haulage, oversized loads, stevedoring, customs brokerage, or related transport operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, adaptability and a commitment to delivering results.
- Dangerous Goods knowledge and experience is preferred.
