Your new company is a well-known organisation in the industry looking to employ an Accounts officer on a part-time basis.
Your new role will include but will not be limited to:
Accounts Payable
- Prepare and pay weekly supplier invoices
- Enter weekly transactions into MYOB
- Enter credit card data and payments
- Reconcile monthly transactions
Accounts Receivable - Create and issue invoices for upfront tuition, amenities and accommodation fees
- Create invoices for fees deferred to FEE-HELP
- Follow up outstanding student debts
- Reconcile daily receipts
General
- Help conduct end-of-month bank reconciliations
- Enter scholarships and bursaries against recipient accounts
- Maintain electronic filing systems
- Ensure accurate record keeping in databases
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a fast-paced Accounts Officer role is a must. The ability to commit to 2-3 days/week in the office is ideal.
