HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of Security Infrastructure Project Manager on behalf of our client, located in Barton / Canberra, ACT.
About the Role:
Take charge of a significant security infrastructure upgrade project involving the Electronic Access Control System (EACS). You will be responsible for end-to-end technical project management and compliance with Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC) standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a large-scale access control security project
- Managing full project life cycle: initiation, design, delivery, handover, and defect liability
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including security contractors and technical consultants
- Ensuring compliance with PSPF, NCC, WHS legislation, and DFAT security specifications
- Managing budgets, schedules, and quality assurance requirements
- Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings and documentation
- Preparing project briefs, contract documents, SWMS, WHS plans, and governance reports
- Conducting site visits and overseeing local and remote project execution

About You:
We're looking for a results-driven, security-cleared professional with a proven record in delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will have:
- NV2 Security Clearance (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience managing construction and security upgrade projects
- Deep knowledge of PSPF and SCEC standards
- Experience working with Gallagher Security Solutions (highly regarded)
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, procurement, budgeting, and governance reporting
- Ability to analyse and review technical documentation and drawings
- Experience preparing risk, communications, and WHS plans
- Willingness to undertake domestic travel and site visits as required
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills
