About the Team
The Customer Transformation Team is a program of work that has been established to transform the way the Customer business operates. The challenge for this newly formed team is to ensure our delivery is purposeful & sustainable in the short term and drives a competitive value proposition for our customers in the long term. This is a very exciting 2-year max term contract opportunity, as part of the Customer business, the purpose of the Senior Change Manager – Future Operating Model, is to drive the successful design, delivery and embedding of a new operating model. The role leads strategic change initiatives, builds leader and team readiness, and embeds future-focused capabilities and behaviours to support a more agile, innovative, and customer-centric organisation. Other aspects of the role include:
- Lead the design and delivery of change and organisational development strategies that support a smooth shift to the future operating model
- Drive business readiness, align leadership, and foster a positive culture
- Turn the new operating model into clear, practical changes, covering roles, structures, workflows, governance, and behaviours
- Provide strategic guidance to transformation workstreams on embedding future-focused ways of working, leadership mindsets, and organisational agility
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping with planning, solving problems, and managing risks
- Build leadership skills and ownership of change through focused engagement, coaching, and support
- Design and implement initiatives that encourage innovation, psychological safety, continuous learning, and customer focus
- Guide updates to people practices like performance, skills development, and career paths to fit the future organisation
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need extensive experience in senior change management or organisational development within large-scale transformation programs. Other things we’re keen on include:
- Strategic thinker who turns complex organizational designs into practical change and skill-building solutions
- Skilled at managing and influencing stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives
- Strong facilitator, coach, and communicator who builds trust, shapes narratives, and drives behaviour change
- Sharp analytical skills focused on performance, engagement, and culture alignment
- Deep knowledge of organisational development, change leadership, and culture transformation
- Comfortable working independently, handling uncertainty, and adapting quickly in fast-moving environments
- Delivered change and OD strategies tied to new operating models, workforce shifts, or improving organisational effectiveness
- Practical knowledge of change frameworks (such as Prosci, ADKAR) and OD tools
- Successfully built leadership capability and embedded lasting ways of working
