As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our upcoming projects. ABOUT THE ROLE Site-based on our upcoming projects across Australia The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for the direction and control of all construction activities on New Energy projects to ensure the achievement of the Company’s profit objectives. You will perform the responsibilities: - Direct and control site construction activities on the project to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety, and performance are observed and that time schedules are met. - Plan and stage construction works, as well as new works. - Interface with engineering, procurement, commercial, quality, material handling and expediting logistic functions to ensure construction activities can take place immediately once on site. - Ensure sufficient resources (equipment and people) are provided on a project so that it can be delivered safely. - Monitor the physical and financial progress of work. Your skills and experience: - Extensive construction experience with working on Renewable or Utilties projects. - Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience appropriate to the responsibilities of the position. - Construction Card along with a current and valid driver’s license. - Equivalent construction tickets and safety certifications - Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards as they apply to the construction industry.
