About the role
We’re looking for a passionate leader to drive wellbeing and psychosocial safety across the organisation. This pivotal role will lead the development and implementation of our psychosocial safety strategy, strengthen key HR and safety processes, and foster a workplace culture that supports mental health, resilience and employee wellbeing.
This role sits within the People & Culture team and works closely with the Safety team and broader business to integrate psychosocial safety into day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, delivery and review of the Psychosocial Risk Strategy and Program, including risk assessments and effectiveness reviews.
- Build and maintain governance frameworks and systems to ensure a safe system of work for psychosocial safety.
- Strengthen HR and Safety processes to better manage psychosocial risks.
- Provide expert advice and support on complex psychosocial matters, with a focus on prevention and employee support.
- Use data from surveys and other sources to monitor risks and track program effectiveness.
- Deliver initiatives that promote wellbeing and a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and alignment with organisational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, WHS, human resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and implementing wellbeing and psychosocial safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of HR and Safety frameworks and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage complex issues with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategy and action.
