Join Sydney Water as a Product Development Coordinator and play a pivotal role in assisting with the delivery of projects that contribute to the development, integration, commercialisation, and new ways of working to meet our business and customer's needs.
In this dynamic role, you will gain exposure to commercial and, research & innovation projects while helping to build frameworks that support our product development pipeline. You will collaborate across teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal teams to eliminate duplication in product development efforts
- Develop business requirement documents and future-state process maps
- Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation
- Organise and support forums, workshops and events, including agendas, materials, and minutes
- Champion innovation and promote the role of Product Development across the organisation
- Produce timely project reports by gathering inputs from project managers
- Conduct data analysis to support business cases, strategies, and performance reviews
- Work with various systems to manipulate, interpret, and present data
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all project submissions and reports
- Maintain governance documentation in line with control standards
- Support the stage-gating process for product pipeline development
- Validate and process project invoices promptly
- Assist in managing project financials, including time sheeting, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
About you
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in project management or product delivery environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage time and priorities to meet deadlines
- Experience working with external service providers to deliver business outcomes
- Skilled in facilitating workshops and forums with senior stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project management or similar would be preferable.
