About the role
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure Services, and managing the Shires Infrastructure Design, Projects, Subdivisions and Landscape Team, you will be working closely with a group of highly professional and talented people to develop environmentally and economically sustainable projects. This is a vital role working with the Projects and Assets teams to ensure the delivery of projects by development of standards for constructed and renewed assets, design drawings and specifications. Our new Manager Engineering services will be key to the delivery of our capital design and construction program along with managing delivery of the continued growing number of new subdivision assets.
This role has huge scope to work on the development of all frameworks relating to the Engineering Team with a focus on quality, budget and control of both new projects and established assets within the Shire.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or relevant field along with a comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in engineering civil design and civil construction, including new subdivision works. You will also need to have advanced project management skills as well as knowledge of asset management and the development of long- term budgets. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
