- Salary: $82,529 - $96,073 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
- 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
Support staff learning at Council by developing and delivering training, manage our Learning Management System and coordinate corporate inductions. The Workplace Learning Officer will also manage the coordination of traineeships and work experience programs. Reporting directly to the Workplace Learning Coordinator, the main focus of this role is to:
- Facilitate face-to-face, online and blended learning events including back end set up, monitoring logistics, training records and post course follow up
- Facilitate implementation of Council's corporate learning and development initiatives, programs, systems and procedures
- Coordinate the administration and ongoing maintenance of Council's Learning Management System
- Liaise with subject matter experts to support course development and distribution
- Liaise with external training providers to implement training solutions for Council
- Manage Council's trainee and apprentice programs and maintain a positive relationship with the Group Training Organisation
- Coordinate selection and onboarding of work experience and work placements within Council

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Business / Business Administration, or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent industry experience
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
- Experience designing, developing, delivering and evaluating corporate training, and learning and development programs
- Demonstrated experience in using a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Demonstrated experience in business document preparation, including reports and procedures
- High level of computer literacy, including records management and Microsoft Office applications
