About Us
Globally, energy markets are in transition to a net zero future and the entities within these markets are transforming their underlying business models to ensure that they stay relevant, sustainable and profitable. As one of Australia’s largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all. Our ability to deliver on this Purpose will be dependent on our people.
Our Specialised Businesses Team is driving innovation in consumer energy solutions, using small-scale assets from rooftop solar to community batteries to support Australia’s shift to cleaner energy.
We’re empowering customers to take control of their energy generating, storing, and using it on their terms. Through EnergyAustralia’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP), these assets work together to support the grid, improve reliability, and accelerate our journey to net zero. Whether it’s solar panels, EVs, home batteries, or commercial systems, our VPP is built by the community, for the community.
VPP Solutions Design Lead
As the VPP Solution Engineering Lead, you’ll play a critical role in the evolution of EnergyAustralia’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP). Reporting to the Orchestration Leader, you’ll ensure the engineering behind our consumer energy solutions is not only robust and reliable today, but built to scale for tomorrow.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining peak performance and availability of the VPP when it matters most—while also leading the design and delivery of new capabilities that expand its reach and impact. Your work will directly contribute to the growth of a smarter, more flexible energy system, unlocking greater value for customers and accelerating the transition to a cleaner energy future.
