We’re looking for keen communications professionals to join Council and support the Communications team on a casual basis. If you are a team player, digitally savvy, highly adaptable and can write clearly and concisely you could be our new team member.

What this role looks like
- Writing a blog post for Council’s website and writing media releases
- Shooting reels at a Council event
- Assisting with administrative tasks and the preparation of reports
- Booking in photographers, videographers or graphic designers
- Interviewing people for Council’s website or Hills Focus magazine
- Assist with the moderation of Council’s social media channels
- Preparing social content for The Hills Shire Council, Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre and the Pioneer Theatre.

What are we seeking in our new team member:
- Currently studying or have completed a degree in related field such as Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, social media, Communications, Journalism or similar
