We’re looking for an enthusiastic digital content creator to build and retain Council’s online audiences with content that engages our communities and conveys the decisions, activities and objectives of Council. The right candidate for this role will have a passion for visual storytelling and digital communications. They will be someone with more than three years’ experience who can write clearly and concisely for online audiences, while understanding the subtle nuances of social media. Competency in Canva or a similar design platform will be very highly regarded.

What this role looks like:
- Create a broad range of content, including stories, articles, social media tiles, graphics, photos and videos for Council’s online audiences.
• Collaborate with teams to develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies to promote the activities, objectives and decisions of Council.
• Act as a brand champion for the organisation and ensure all content adheres to Council’s style guidelines.
• Prepare e-newsletters and manage distribution to various databases.
• Manage website content for Council’s main and ancillary sites including the Pioneer Theatre, Waves and Hills Focus online magazine as required.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
- Degree in related field such as Bachelor of Arts, Marketing, social media, Communications, Journalism or similar
• Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW
