Commencing in January 2026, for a period of two years, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Data & Reporting Analyst to join our organisation.
In this role, you will undertake a graduate program developed specifically for you, giving you exposure to a range of services within our Enterprise Architecture team including data analysis, reporting, and insight functions that support informed decision-making across Maitland City Council.
You will develop a solid foundation for best practice data analysis and interpretation whilst building your capability in multiple systems such as Power BI, Azure Synapse, dashboards, analytics tools and data models.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Degree level qualifications in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline within the previous two years, or completion of degree by January 2026.
- Experience in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modelling.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure data services such as Synapse, Data Factory and Azure SQL
- Ability to interpret complex data and present insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to team goals.
Benefits
This Graduate position is a full time, temporary role working a 35-hour week, with a salary commencing from $70,728.84 per year + 12% super.
