Love working outdoors? Skilled with concrete and plant machinery? Join our Civil Maintenance team and help keep our city looking great! You’ll work across footpaths, drainage, roads, and car parks, with a strong focus on concreting.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Experience in concrete footpath maintenance and finishing
- Experience preparing bases, setting forms, positioning steel, pouring and finishing concrete, site cleanup
- Experience operating plant: skid steer, front-end loader, backhoe
- Problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently
- Current and valid ‘MR class driver’s licence
- Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of WHS procedures
- Basic computer skills
This position offers a gross wage of $1,466 per week which incorporates all allowances including the adverse conditions allowance and penalty rates, and:
- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
