About the role
The Senior
Project Delivery Engineerwill play a pivotal role in delivering
multiple externally funded civil infrastructure projects across the
municipality. This position is responsible for planning, procurement,
construction supervision, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within
budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
You will
manage contractors, oversee compliance with specifications and legislative
requirements, and apply robust project management frameworks to maintain
transparency and accountability. A key aspect of the role is engaging
positively with the community and stakeholders to optimise outcomes, while
providing technical advice and resolving delivery challenges collaboratively.
This is an
exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of critical
infrastructure projects that enhance community wellbeing and sustainability.
Skills and experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related
discipline, with eligibility for professional registration.
- Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure
project delivery, including planning, procurement, and construction
supervision.
- Strong understanding of contract and tender
management processes and state government reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, monitor
performance, and deliver projects within scope and timelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder
engagement skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and
continuous improvement.
- Ability to foster positive relationships and
contribute to a customer-focused, team-oriented culture.
