About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Manager Project Portfolio Management this role will Oversee and direct program and project management activities for the successful delivery of the CCC Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Projects.
In this role you will:
- Provide overall management and direction for the design and delivery phases of the (21) construction projects in the program, including acting as the client for Campbelltown Art Centre Expansion and Campbelltown Centre of Excellence projects.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of building, infrastructure, parks and open space projects, ensuring their successful delivery aligns with organisational objectives.
- Achieve program and project delivery goals (encompassing scope, quantity, quality, and time, safety, environmental and cost) by overseeing the project management processes including planning, design, procurement, contract negotiation, construction and hand over in liaison with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external resources to optimise project outcomes.
- Oversee for the development, implementation, management, and reporting of (21) CCC WSIG Projects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, construction management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in program or project management in the construction, infrastructure, or urban development sector.
- Knowledge of Local Government procurement and delivery processes would be highly regarded.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing the construction of large scale, complex infrastructure projects or capital works projects, particularly within a developed urban environment.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams including staff, consultants and contractors in delivering large and diverse construction projects.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in developing and effectively managing construction project plans and budgets at all phases of construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and sustainability principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Previous Client Side Program Management experience.
