The Role

As our Chief Officer Assets & Services, you’ll:
- Lead a diverse portfolio including Asset Management, Design, Water & Sewer, Waste Management, Facilities, Fleet & Plant, Aquatic Facilities, Roads, Parks, Cemeteries, Town Spaces, and Major Projects.
- Drive cultural alignment and build organisational capability through values-based leadership.
- Deliver outcomes that balance service standards, value for money, and asset optimisation.
- Turn complex infrastructure challenges into opportunities for community transformation.
- Play a pivotal role in restoring trust and building a thriving future for our region.

What You’ll Bring
- Executive-level experience leading large, complex organisations.
- Proven success in change management and cultural transformation.
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, with a consultative approach.
- A strong technical background with a degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) and postgraduate qualifications in Business or Project Management.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IPWEA) highly desirable.
- Significant experience managing diverse services including water, waste, roads, parks, and major projects.
- Commercial acumen and a track record of delivering outcomes that matter.
