About the role
You will be responsible for development and delivery of programs and initiatives that support community wellbeing and belonging across the Lane Cove local government area.
The role works collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and the local community to design and deliver effective programs that align with Council strategies and community priorities.
About you
The
successful candidate will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in community services/development.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering community projects, programs and events.
- Experience working with a broad range of people in a community setting.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships with community members and stakeholders in accordance with relevant Council policies and legislation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- A current ‘Paid Worker – Working with Children Check’ clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People

Salary range:
From $1282 per week (+ super) to $1484 per week (+ super) paid on a pro-rata basis dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable
candidate.
