We now seek a Chief Officer Corporate & Community who will anchor the organisation’s corporate performance and lead the community-facing services that shape the identity and experience of our 29,000 residents.

As our Chief Officer Corporate & Community, you will lead a diverse, high-impact portfolio that includes:
- Governance, Risk & Records
- Customer Service
- Information Technology
- Corporate Planning & Reporting
- Community Services & Libraries
- Airport operations
- Guyra Pre‑school and early childhood services
You will be the leader who brings alignment between the Executive, Councillors, staff and community — ensuring decisions are informed, transparent and anchored in values.
Your work will touch every part of the organisation.
Your influence will touch every part of the region.
About You
You are more than experienced — you are steady, perceptive and unflappable.
A leader who brings:
- Executive-level experience across corporate services, governance, finance or community portfolios
- Strength in organisational alignment, culture and communication
- The confidence to navigate political and community environments with credibility
