About the role
You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant processing of Council’s accounts payable creditor payments, reconciliations, and related financial records in accordance with Council policies and procedures, legislative requirements (including GST), audit standards, and delegated authorities.
About you
The
successful candidate will have:
- Experience in Accounts Payable within a computerised accounting system.
- Knowledge of creditors and purchasing processes, including purchase order matching and electronic invoice processing.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and their practical application.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Salary range:
From $1415 per week to $1639 per week plus super dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable
candidate.
