The Role
We’re looking for a dynamic, delivery-focused Project Manager to join our Transformation team. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects spanning infrastructure, applications, and digital initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll influence project outcomes, uplift governance practices, and champion agile delivery across the organisation. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure projects land on time, on budget, and aligned to our strategic roadmap.

Who Are We?
Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund dedicated to the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members, covering the lives of over 500,000 teachers, education staff, and their families.
What you’ll do?
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Information Services projects aligned to the IS project roadmap
- Manage governance, artefacts, risks, issues, and reporting to ensure transparency and control
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and deliver outcomes
- Drive agile and hybrid delivery approaches to maximise efficiency and adaptability
- Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams including infrastructure, development, and service delivery
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term operational support models
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks, governance, and best practices
- Build strong stakeholder engagement through clear communication and regular updates
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering IT projects in complex environments
- Strong experience across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences)
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, and reporting
- Experience working across infrastructure, applications, and digital teams
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
Highly Regarded:
- Experience in health insurance or regulated industries (e.g., APRA environments)
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Exposure to enterprise environments with multiple technology streams
- Experience driving agile maturity and delivery uplift
