Projects & Operations Coordinator

The Projects & Operations Coordinator is responsible for:
- Provide specialist technical project assistance for the delivery of airside and landside infrastructure projects across Tamworth Regional Airport and International Flight Training Tamworth;
- Ensure airside and landside projects are delivered within safety, environmental, quality, time, cost and service level objectives;
- Ensure airside projects are delivered in compliance with associated aeronautical regulators in close conjunction with the Airport Technical Officer and key stakeholders;
- Co-ordinate and participate in the preparation of clear and comprehensive project plans, specifications, tenders, contracts and other documentation necessary for delivery of infrastructure projects;
- Prepare contract documentation, supervise and administer infrastructure contract for all airside and landside projects;
- Maintain the operational safety of the aerodrome, ensuring compliance with the relevant acts and regulations including the Work Health and Safety Act to ensure the maintenance of a safe public environment;
- Support operations of the airport security system including passenger and checked baggage screening and ensure that the screening contractor complies with the relevant acts and regulations; and
- Maintain the integrity of Tamworth Regional Airport assets.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
- Certificate IV in Project Management, Business, Leadership & Management or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in project, facilities or asset management (ideally within aviation or similar industry)
- Strong knowledge of safety, compliance and regulatory environments
- Well-developed communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in incident and emergency management procedures
- Ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card

Salary range: Grade 17 - 19 – $98,142.68 to $121,200.39 per annum iplus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle* for a 35-hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
*It should be noted that an employee salary contribution is required for this motor vehicle.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
