Systems Analyst
Location: Tamworth, NSW
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Deliver professional support and advice to users of Council’s enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and project teams to enable technology opportunities and resolve business-related technology issues.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and resolve issues, and develop, document, and obtain approval for solutions and associated deliverables.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability in enterprise applications with the ability to support, maintain & enhance systems to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes.
They will be confident providing user support & advice; while proactively identifying and resolving technology related issues and have a flexible, proactive approach to take on a broad range of duties aligned with required skills & experience.
The Systems Analyst will:
- Provide support, advice & troubleshooting across Council’s enterprise applications
- Maintain, enhance & upgrade systems to ensure reliable, high-quality outcomes
- Partner with business units to identify issues & develop practical solutions
- Prepare, document, and gain approval for system improvements & deliverables
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Analyse workflows & processes to identify & implement efficiency improvements
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Degree in Information Technology or similar OR relevant equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in systems analysis and application support
- Proven experience working with stakeholder, vendors & project teams
- Clear communication skills
- NSW Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 15 - $88,896 - $96,191 per annum plus 12% superannuation for a 35 hour work week.
Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
