We are seeking an experienced and professional Project Framework Administrator with a passion for corporate performance. It is important to note, this is NOT a Project Manager role. This role is a governance function, providing compliance assurance in accordance with the Shire's Project Management Framework, providing significant administrative support to ensure quality application of the Framework, throughout the lifecycle of a variety of capital projects. In this role you will have the following accountabilities:
- Provide training, support and capacity building to Project Managers to ensure compliance with the Project Management Framework
- Pre-populating project documentation (e.g. project plans) for subsequent completion by project managers, and analysis of this documentation once completed, which includes:

- Scope and schedule alignment with Council mandate/s or Project Board decision
- Budget alignment with Annual Budget, Long Term Financial Plan and/or any resolutions of Council
- General sense check to ensure the plan articulates details of the project clearly and accurately, including completion of all sections of the Project Plan
- Endorsement by the Project Reference Group, Delivery Director and Sponsor, prior to presentation to the Project Board
- Processing / following up with project managers on key PMF processes (stage gate checklists, change requests, risk registers, lessons learned, monthly reports etc.)
- Maintaining the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) module in Tech One
- Agenda setting, minute taking and action tracking of Project Board meetings
- Evolution of the PMF as the organisation continues to mature, for example:
- Updates to Project Management Council Policy/Business Operating Procedures
- Implementation of processes
- Continued training of staff on the PMF
- Development and implementation of a Project Management Continuous Improvement Plan
- General administrative support to the Corporate Performance team as required
Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following experiences and skillset:
- Diploma or Cert IV in a business / administration related discipline or extensive experience in a similar role.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with well-developed governance compliance skills, analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Highly developed and effective interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, and to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
An attractive renumeration package of up to $90,000 per annum, plus super is on offer, dependent on experience.
