About the Opportunity

this, we seek a dedicated Utilities Support Engineer to join the
Community Utilities Operations team, providing engineering support across the
operation, maintenance and renewal of Council water and wastewater treatment
and distribution infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or
Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in an operational
engineering role, including project planning and management
- Experience in process optimisation,
troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
- Strong computer skills, including experience
using industry related software applications
- A current Class C Driver Licence
- A General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
On a typical day this role will:
- Provide engineering support to internal
stakeholders to assist with the operation, maintenance and renewal of Community
Utilities assets
- Develop operational procedures, safe work
documents and safety documentation including works schedules, shutdown
procedures, SWMS and risk assessments
- Review maintenance activities and outcomes to
identify opportunities to improve asset performance, reliability and efficiency
- Provide technical advice on water, wastewater
and recycled water systems, including environmental impacts and mitigation of
environmental harm
- Support capital works delivery by contributing
technical input to design reviews, workshops, data analysis and project
delivery activities
- Assist with procurement activities for
maintenance and renewal works and services
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to
enhance operational efficiency and asset performance
- Promote safe working practices, including
participation in inspections, inductions and WHS risk management activities
- Collaborate across Community Utilities teams
including Process, Reticulation Networks, Construction and Waste
- Participate in PMHC’s after-hours on-call roster

type: Permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week plus flex-time)
Salary: Starting from $97,130.47 to $108,719.03 per year depending on skills and experience
plus 12% super
Allowances:
Civil Liability & On-Call Allowance
This
role also qualifies for a leaseback vehicle or allowance
