We are seeking an experienced manager to lead:
- Councils operational transition towards Net Zero emissions,
- Blue Mountains community Towards Net Zero community strategy development, support implementation
- Development of Councils Towards Zero Waste Strategy
- The design and contracting of effective waste services that transition to Circular economy and Towards Zero Waste.
- Community education and behaviour change programs
You will have degree qualifications of relevance to the position such as Environmental Science, Resource Recovery Planning, Waste Management and/or significant experience in a similar waste/environmental or sustainability role.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $161,533 gross per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
