You will be required to:
- Safely provide an efficient and reliable solid waste removal service for the community, including operation of side lift garbage truck, town centre and park bin collection and booked waste service collection.
- Maintain basic service records as well as clean, care for and undertake minor maintenance of vehicles
- Follow safe working practices and report any unsafe plant, equipment or practices.
You will have a HR driver’s licence and experience, a Construction Induction Certificate and ideally, experience or knowledge of waste collection services. You will have good interpersonal skills, with proven ability to provide quality customer service and work effectively with a team. You will be enthusiastic and flexible.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $61,197 gross per annum
+ adverse working conditions allowance of $2,730 per annum
+ early start shift allowance (20% of hourly rate for the first half hour of shift)
+ side arm allowance (once achievement goals are reached) of $4,290 per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
