Weekly Rate: $1,663.55–$1,1813.27 + super
What You’ll Do
As Senior Storekeeper, you’ll maintain Council’s store operations, ensuring stock, systems, suppliers, and internal service delivery are well coordinated to support teams across the organisation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for stock control, electronic store processes, store presentation, and efficient day-to-day operations, including:
- Manage and develop staff through implementation of Council’s human resource management systems, policies, and procedures
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with stakeholders including Council staff and suppliers
- Carry out processes for electronic stores issues and receipt of incoming goods
- Order and maintain appropriate store stock items in accordance with Council’s purchasing policies and undertake regular stocktakes, ensuring stock levels are appropriate for Council needs
- Ensure that all store stock items are requisitioned in accordance with the delegations under the Council purchasing policy

Skills/Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll bring the experience, practical knowledge and licences needed to lead a busy store function with confidence.
- Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations or Transport and Logistics – Warehousing and Storage, or relevant work experience in a similar environment
- Current class C Drivers licence
- Current Forklift licence (class FL or LO)
- General Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
