As our Lubrication Assistant, you will help keep Council’s vehicles and plant serviced, safe and ready for action. Working as part of the Workshop team, you will operate the lubrication bays, complete scheduled servicing in line with technical manuals, maintain service records and support tradespeople when needed.
This is a practical, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same. You will work across workshop and field servicing tasks, help keep the lubrication bay clean and safe, order parts, move assets into position and provide clear advice on servicing timeframes and frequencies.

LET’S HEAR ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate is safety focused, reliable and ready to learn. You will bring relevant experience, an understanding of lubrication bay practices, confidence using minor plant and tools, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accurate records and high service standards.
You will also require:
- School Certificate or equivalent relevant experience;
- Demonstrated understanding relevant to Councils Lubrication Bay practices and experience with plant and equipment;
- Experience in the use of minor plant and equipment (eg. Air tools, power tools and basic hand tools);
- Trained in applying standard WHS procedures with little guidance; and
- RMS Class C Driver’s licence, or higher.
