Business Support Officer – Liveable Communities (Part Time 21 Hours per week)

- Support the Liveable Communities Directorate to deliver operational and strategic projects for the community!
COULD THIS BE YOU?
We are looking for an individual who is highly efficient, a team player with administration experience, someone who likes a challenge and would like to further develop their administration knowledge, skills and experience.
The position is a general administration role which assists the entire Directorate. The tasks you would undertake include but are not limited to basic administration such as formatting letters, data entry, booking of appointments, travel bookings, catering and stationary ordering and processing of Purchase Orders.
The Business Support Officer – Liveable Communities is responsible for:
- Working efficiently in a business administration environment - both independently and as part of a team
- Developing work priorities including identifying, analysing and resolving problems
- Delivering a service to internal staff and external customers
- Using corporate and specialised software programs including managing and monitoring information management systems, finance systems and Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated flexibility in a dynamic work environment
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate III in Business Administration or similar.
- Ability to be a team player and cooperate with others to deliver business outcomes.
- Attention to detail is essential, and some knowledge of the importance of accuracy in legal correspondence is highly desirable.
- Have a genuine interest in Liveable Communities projects and commitment to pursue team goals.
- Previous experience in office administration
- Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 8 - $34.00 - $36.79 per hour plus 12% superannuation for a 21 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
