About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administration Officer to join our Finance team.
This role is responsible for providing high-quality financial and administrative support across a broad range of functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, reporting, audit preparation, grants administration and budget monitoring. Working closely with the Financial Accountant and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to maintaining strong financial controls, accurate records and efficient financial processes while supporting the delivery of Council’s strategic and operational objectives.
About you
It is essential you hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline and have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant role. You possess strong communication, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You have experience using Microsoft Office and financial management systems and can interpret and apply policies, procedures and relevant legislation. A proactive team player, you are committed to continuous improvement, delivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
