About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Precinct Maintainer to support the upkeep and improvement of our Central Aquatics Precincts. This hands-on role involves operating plant and light trucks, performing general maintenance, gardening, land care, and property upkeep across sport fields, leisure centres, parks, and reserves. The key role of this position includes:
- Operate plant and light trucks for maintenance and construction tasks.
- Perform mowing, tree pruning, irrigation system maintenance, and park upkeep.
- Carry out commercial cleaning and property maintenance, including minor building repairs.
- Use hand tools and machinery such as chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and herbicide sprayers.
- Ensure child safety compliance and report any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the Precinct Coordinator and team to deliver high quality outcomes.

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate III in Horticulture, Arboriculture, Turf Management, Nursery Practice, Commercial Cleaning, or equivalent experience.
- Current National WHS Construction Card (White Card).
- Current Class MR Driver's Licence
- Experience operating minor plant and light trucks for parks maintenance.
- Strong time management and ability to work independently and in a team.
