About the Role
This role is responsible for the planning, development and optimisation of preventative maintenance programs for Shoalhaven Water's water, sewer, recycled water and waste management assets to support safe, reliable and cost‑effective service delivery. This includes:
- Translate asset management strategies into structured maintenance schedules, templates and work orders within the Asset Management System.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure maintenance programs are practical, deliverable and aligned with field requirements.
- Monitor and analyse maintenance performance, including reactive and preventative maintenance data to drive continuous improvement in asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness and lifecycle outcomes.
- Provide support and training in all relevant aspects of Shoalhaven Water's schedule maintenances program to Shoalhaven Water staff.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Water Operations or a related discipline, or extensive equivalent experience in infrastructure maintenance environments.
- Demonstrated experience in developing preventative maintenance schedules, task lists and templates.
- Demonstrated experience using asset and/or works management systems (e.g. TechnologyOne or equivalent).
- Class C Driver's License
- Workcover General Induction Card (or willing to obtain)
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa).

You will have the ability to interpret asset data, develop effective maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve asset performance through data-driven insights. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you'll work closely with planning, operations and technical teams while effectively managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
