The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead and support the Sapphire Mobile Preschool team in the delivery of quality early childhood programs that enrich the lives of children and families, ensuring that the services meet all statutory regulations, standards and approved curriculum. Uphold the Paramountcy Principle ensuring that the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of the child comes first, above all other considerations.
As a Nominated Supervisor at Sapphire Mobile Preschool, you will undertake overall responsibility for the day to day management of the staff and programs aswell as act as a role model and mentor to Educators in understanding and complying with Regulations, the Law and the National Quality Framework. You will ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements are achieved within set timeframes, including those relating to data collection, quality improvement, risk management, records storage and program accountability. And review practice against the National Quality Standards and engage in critical reflection for continuous improvement.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Teaching degree recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Advanced knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Law and Regulations
- Strong skills in all aspects of human resource management, including directing and supporting teams to comply with Regulations
- Excellent ability to build respectful relationships with children, families and stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in managing, reporting and resolving complex child protection situations
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage rosters and maximise service utilisation
- Skills in financial management, including ability to monitor budgets and deliver grant-funded projects
- Demonstrated skills in managing conflict and complaints from staff or families
Benefits
This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week. This position is during NSW school term time only. Sapphire Mobile Preschool employees are not engaged during NSW declared school holidays and are therfore not remunerated.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $103,766.21 gross per annum (paid pro-rata), comprising of:
- $1,781.70 per week base salary (paid pro-rata)
- $213.80 per week superannuation (calculated at 12% and paid pro-rata)
