2 X Permanent, Full Time 35 hours, 5 days/week $92,042.95 to $100,855.53 + Super
JOB DESCRIPTION
A great career opportunity has arisen within Liverpool City Council for an experienced and energetic Field Inspector. As a key member of the Maintenance Planning and Reporting Team, you will be the first point of contact for all customer enquires relating to road openings and vehicular crossings.
You will also be responsible for providing first call response, identifying any issues, making sound judgment to determine the appropriate response to resolve the issue and to ensure that the site is safe at all times.
You will also be required to inspect and approve driveway constructions, assess and issue road opening permits and manage restoration works.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will possess exceptional customer service and problem solving skills. You will also be required to meet the daily demands of this position.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Construction/Maintenance field and/or equivalent extensive field experience;
- Construction Induction accreditation;
- Current Class C Drivers Licence; and
- Knowledge and application of Work Health and Safety practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, ethical practice and multi-cultural diversity.
