Business Development Specialist
$70,000–$90,000 + Super + Quarterly Incentive
OTE up to $110,000 | Four-Day Working Week | Paid Volunteer Leave
At meetpat, we design hydration solutions that help councils, schools, sporting venues and public spaces provide free, safe drinking water while reducing reliance on single-use plastics.
We’re a certified B Corporation, and we’re growing across Australia. We’re now looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, opening doors and turning conversations into real business opportunities.
This is a genuine new-business role focused on the Australian market. You’ll research potential customers, build target account lists, engage decision-makers and manage opportunities from the first conversation through to proposal, quotation and sale.
Working closely with our Sales Manager, you’ll help grow meetpat across Local Government, education, tourism, sport, events and other public and commercial spaces. Some days you’ll be on the phone or LinkedIn starting conversations. Other days you’ll be meeting customers, learning about upcoming projects, preparing proposals or moving opportunities through the sales process.
If you’re energised by creating new opportunities, building relationships and turning conversations into customers, you’ll thrive in this role.
You don’t need experience in the water industry. We’re more interested in your ability to:
- Prospect confidently and generate new opportunities.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Engage senior decision-makers and develop strong relationships.
- Stay organised, manage your time and work independently.
- Follow up consistently and keep opportunities moving.
- Use a CRM with the discipline to maintain accurate customer, activity and pipeline records.
Success means building a strong pipeline, developing relationships in priority sectors, securing new customers and making a meaningful contribution to meetpat’s domestic growth.
In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, quarterly incentives, a genuine four-day working week, paid volunteer leave for social or environmental causes, and the opportunity to help shape the next stage of a purpose-driven Australian business.
A salary within the advertised $70,000–$90,000 + Super. Range will be offered based on your skills and experience.

Ready to build something, not just maintain it? We’d love to hear from you.
