About the Team
The Customer Compliance Performance team provides specialist compliance expertise to the Customer Business Unit, enabling effective compliance management. The team ensures EnergyAustralia's regulatory compliance, governance systems, processes, and frameworks align with industry standards and meet customer expectations.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Compliance Performance Team, as our Compliance Initiative Delivery Lead. In this role, you will coordinate, support and deliver compliance-related projects and programs across the Customer business. The purpose of this role is ensure initiatives are well managed, aligned with compliance objectives, considered e2e across business processes and delivered on time to improve compliance maturity, uplift capability, and embed best practice across the business. Other aspects of the role include:
- Provide compliance advice and support to the Customer business unit across a range of projects and initiatives
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of compliance initiatives, including transformation projects, uplift programs, and continuous improvement activities
- Facilitate change management and communications to support successful implementation and business adoption
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and embedding lessons learned across initiatives
- Effectively support management of project timelines, milestones, risks, and interdependencies across multiple initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have considerable experience in leading the delivery of projects, preferably within a compliance, risk, legal or regulatory environment. Other things we’re keen on include:
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives that improve business processes, systems, or compliance maturity
- Knowledge of operational compliance and risk frameworks and processes
- Experience with agile methodologies, having the ability to plan, execute, and oversee business projects from inception to completion
- Adaptable and proactive, ready to tackle challenges in a dynamic setting
- Organised and detail focussed with a strong ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
