Exciting part time permanent administration support role in the Information Technology and Data Team. Support the team delivering procurement, invoicing and contract management.
Use your skills to ensure the smooth running of operational and project tasks.
This role plays a vital part in supporting the IT & Data Leadership team and works closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.

About the Role
Service Delivery
- Providing administrative assistance to Manager Information Technology and Data.
- Raising and receipting of purchase orders and invoices, typically within a 1-to-2-week time frame.
- Coordinating team meetings as required and preparing agendas and minutes.
- Assisting with key Procurement processes; monitoring and reporting expiry dates, ensuring documentation is current and accurate.
- Monitoring the knowledge database to ensure it remains up to date.
- Prepare and assist with the creation of business reports, policies, procedures and correspondence.
- Ensure the IT mobile register is up to date, typically within a 1-to-2-week time frame.
Systems and processes
- Create and maintain system documentation, templates, artefacts in Core systems.
- Continuously improve key IT and procurement processes.
People
- Build relationships with the Information Technology and Data teams, finance, procurement, contractors, and subject matter experts across Council.
Skills and Experience
- You have worked in administration support and administrative functions or IT & Data.
- You bring excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- You are proactive, detail-focused enjoy working collaboratively to deliver against high expectations.
- Experience working in a service delivery environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or relevant experience in a similar role. You are reliable and accountable with the ability to use your initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
- Have a continual process improvement mindset.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience.
