To ensure Council provide an exceptional customer experience, we are seeking a UX/UI Designer who will create user-friendly and engaging digital experiences for all end users.
About the Role
As Council's UX/UI Designer you will shape the digital experience for customers interacting with Council services across internal systems and public facing platforms. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for designing user experiences and user interfaces across a range of integrated digital environments, including Salesforce and other SaaS[TM1] products, with a strong focus on mobile first design principles. Your work will help deliver intuitive, accessible and engaging digital experiences.
With a focus on understanding and improving digital experiences, you will design, test, and iterate on digital assets from low to high fidelity, utilising user feedback and testing to guide iteration. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring designs meet user and business needs and create inclusive, accessible and user focused outcomes in all digital interactions.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess degree qualifications in a field related to User Experience Design, or an equivalent combination of relevant contemporary experience.
You will have extensive experience conducting user experience research and translating insights into design artefacts such as personas, journey maps and service blueprints.
Demonstrated experience and ability in designing, testing, iterating and delivering user experiences and user interfaces across a variety of public facing digital experiences, including websites, portals and apps is essential.
Additionally, you will have proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with a solid understanding of usability principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Benefits
This is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours per week with a base salary ranging from $105,916 - $117,566 per year + 12% p.a. superannuation.
