Council is seeking an eager individual to join our Entertainment Venues team. You will have a willingness to learn, the ability to work collaboratively and have a positive attitude.
As a Venues Operations Support, you will play a vital role in the efficient functioning of our venues. You'll work closely with our operations team to coordinate logistical details, manage resources, and provide administrative support to ensure the seamless execution of events.
The “Venues Operations Support” role is responsible for:
- Assisting with venue set-up/pull down and event bump-in/bump-out;
- Ensuring all stakeholders are met with a professional and helpful manner;
- Operating a range of equipment
- Providing caretaker duties including general maintenance at our facilities and venues;
- Ensuring a Clean and Safe environment for employees and members of the public, at all times; and
- Approaching your workload and unexpected tasks with a great problem-solving work ethic.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
Ideally we would like you to have a Certificate III in a relevant field (Commercial Cleaning, Carpentry, Welding, Automotive Mechanical or similar) or equivalent relevant experience. Council are willing assist the successful candidate with any training or qualifications that are needed for the role.

Salary range: Grade 7 - $1,151.80 - $1,246.30 per week plus 12% Superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
NOTE: Ordinary hours of work shall be a spread of hours across a seven (7) day roster, based on an average of 38 hours per week, not exceeding 152 hours in any four week period.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
