THE JOB
Council is seeking a systematic and capable person with strong interpersonal and financial skills to join our Rates and Revenue Team. This position involves processing accounts receivable including preparing and distributing invoices, reconciling transactions, monitoring accounts for overdue payments and outstanding debts. The successful applicant will deal with customer inquiries, investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, implement payment plans, and maintain accurate records of transactions.

THE LOCATION
Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales which spans 8959km2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in a number of vibrant and unique towns, villages and rural properties. THE BENEFITS
- Fortnightly salary range of $2,380.20 to $2,678.90 per fortnight (gross) plus 12% superannuation. Salary offered within the range will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience
- Full time hours are 70 / fortnight with flexible work options available including part-time, job share and RDO arrangements
- Access to long service leave after 5 years
- General leave entitlements including 15 days sick/personal leave, 2 days health and wellbeing leave per year, paid parental leave
