THE JOB
Council is seeking a fit and capable person with concreting skills and experience to join our Concreting and Drainage Team. This position involves undertaking concreting and civil labouring works in the construction and maintenance of concrete and drainage infrastructures including, but not limited: footpaths, pavers, kerb and gutters, blisters, paths, driveways, roundabouts and stormwater drainage infrastructure.
Ideally, we are seeking someone with high level experience, however we are open to applications from candidates with less experience who demonstrate a good team fit and a can-do attitude.

THE LOCATION
Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales which spans 8959km
2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in a number of vibrant and unique towns, villages and rural properties. It is a perfect location for families and those seeking a tree change to a more relaxed and affordable lifestyle whilst still having access to a wide range of leisure options, shopping, education and employment.
THE BENEFITS
- This is a permanent full time position working 76 hours/fortnight on a 9 day/fortnight arrangement.
- Hourly rate of $38.55 (gross) plus 12% superannuation.
- While overtime is not guaranteed this team regularly undertakes works which may require additional hours to be worked.
