About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and proactive IT Support Officer to join our corporate team based at Wahroonga. This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations across UPA, providing first-line support to staff, maintaining systems, and assisting with IT projects. You’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting, system administration, and supporting digital transformation initiatives that improve the way we deliver care and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective Level 1 & 2 IT support to staff across multiple sites (onsite and remote).
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.
- Maintain IT assets, equipment, and inventories.
- Assist with system upgrades, installations, and patches.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and digital transformation projects.
- Provide clear communication and support to staff with varying levels of IT knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security, and privacy standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of IT procedures.
About You
You’ll bring strong technical skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset. You enjoy problem-solving, supporting others, and working in a mission-driven environment.
Skills & Experience Required
- Relevant IT qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in providing IT support (hardware, software, and networks).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, user management, and permissions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain IT issues to non-technical users.
- A collaborative and positive team player attitude.
Additional Requirements
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel if required.
- Right to work in Australia.
- National Police Check and up-to-date vaccinations (as per UPA policy).
