Are you ready to drive meaningful transformation and help shape how CBCity works and serves our community? We’re seeking a Transformation Change Lead on an 18-month contract (with option for review) to champion our Digital Transformation program and embed change that connects our people to our purpose "Together, we create a great city we love" and our Ambition to “Create a community that loves their community”.
In this role, you will design and deliver a strategic, organisation-wide communications and change approach that enables the success of CBCity’s transformation priorities - particularly our Digital Transformation roadmap.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement a clear, organisation-wide communications plan that sets the foundation for digital transformation success.
- Partner with leaders and teams across People Transformation, Digital Transformation, and Information Communication Technology (ICT) to align change, culture, leadership, and customer experience efforts.
- Coach and develop internal specialists in transformational change practices, tools, and mindsets—building capability across the organisation.
- Create compelling change artefacts (presentations, messaging, toolkits, visual frameworks) that bring transformation to life.
- Apply political and organisational awareness to navigate sensitive issues.
- Identify and address change risks and resistance using behavioural insights and feedback, adapting approaches to engage a diverse workforce.
- Work with Organisational Development teams to shape a future-focused strategic leadership approach and inform tactical leadership initiatives.
- Lead projects end-to-end: planning, governance, risk analysis, resource allocation and budget management, to deliver outcomes that matter.

What You’ll Bring:
- Senior-level experience in organisational change management and strategic communications, ideally within digital transformation or ICT programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in Change Management, Communications, Organisational Psychology, or a related field, and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Certification, formal training, or equivalent experience in change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter).
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for varied audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including experience with senior executives.
- A passion for building positive, high-performing workplace cultures and enabling leaders to drive and embed change.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary starting at $131K plus 11% super, with potential for negotiation depending on experience.
- 18-month full-time temp opportunity, with the possibility of review at the end of the term.
