About the position:
The City is currently implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join the ERP Project Team and be part of a significant transformational program.
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective administrative and project support services to the ERP Implementation project. You will provide a responsive point of contact service, and develop and maintain positive working relationships with project stakeholders
This is a full time fixed term position for 18 months with the potential for future employment opportunities.
Key accountabilities:
- Coordinate project activities and administration in consultation with Change Manager to support the delivery of the ERP implementation project.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support such as handling general enquiries preparation of project documentation and procurement activities.
- Reconcile consultant activity reports with the project investment schedule, escalating invoice inconsistencies or overruns.
- Prepare project reports and maintain the project schedule, avoiding conflicts by rescheduling activities as required.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities, arrange meetings, presentations and training, undertake planning, prepare documentation and provide minutes as required.

Position requirements:
Candidates should have a degree in Business Administration and/or lesser qualification with significant experience in business administration in an information technology or project environment.
All candidates must have comprehensive interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work within a team environment and with a variety of stakeholders.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
The Project Support Officer position has a salary starting from $89,127 per annum or $45.1046 per hour, offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
