The City Performance directorate underpins the delivery of service excellence by providing expertise in financial services, procurement, governance, customer experience and business technology.
About the role
The role sits within the Financial Strategy and Reporting Function of the finance team.
The Financial Analyst role will support and work closely with the Finance Business Partners in delivering the following functions:
- Integrated financial planning;
- Annual budgeting and quarterly reviews;
- Management and performance reporting;
- Forecasting, financial modelling, project funding and acquittals;
- Overall finance business partnering with operational business units; and
- Other ad-hoc tasks required from time to time to support the overall finance function.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has recently completed and/or graduated with a tertiary qualification in a finance, accounting, business or related discipline.
- Has a strong desire to learn and gain industry experience through hands-on work.
- Has an interest in financial planning and analysis, process improvement and business optimisation.
- Can bring their own unique personality, creativity, innovation and outside the box thinking.

Salary: From $78,565.69 - $87,993.61 pa + 12% superannuation
