- Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus allowances
- 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight Monday to Friday
- Located at Bomaderry Works Depot

About the Role
This role is responsible for providing multi-skilled technical knowledge and experience to diagnose, repair and maintain Council's plant and motor vehicle assets in accordance with maintenance schedules, customer service level requirements and appropriate safety and quality standards. This includes:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Council's comprehensive fleet of light and heavy vehicles, heavy plant, small and fixed plant.
- Carries out field work on all vehicles, heavy and fixed plant in all environments, including, at night, on roadsides, waste depots, sewerage treatment plants and pump stations, Comerong Island ferry, emergency bushfire incidents.
- Significant planning on the job, planning of major shutdowns, communication and negotiation with customers and asset owners, ordering of parts and materials needed to complete the task within budget, efficiently and safely

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Dual trade certificate or trade certificate plus post trade qualifications in related field or equivalent experience
- Class C Driver's Licence
- MVRIA Licence
- NSW General Construction Induction card (Whitecard)
- Right to work in Australia
We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with the ability to assess problems and provide solutions within policy and legislative requirements.
