- Salary: $105,927 - $120,707 gross p.a. plus 12% Super

About the Role
This role provides accounting services and business partnering within the Finance Section, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Reporting to the Manager - Budgeting and Analysis. You'll mentor two Finance Business Partners and work closely with directors and managers to help them manage financial operations effectively. This includes:
- Business partnering & decision support - working with the Manager - Budgeting and Analysis to build positive relationships with key stakeholders to build financial literacy, promote good finance business practice while becoming familiar with their operations, systems, processes and policies.
- Through monthly and quarterly reporting provide insights into operating performance, budget variances, trend analysis and KPI reporting to stakeholders including commentary on key variances and recommended actions to bridge gaps.
- Assist business managers and their staff in the use of financial systems and to develop their understanding of our financial tools.
- Support and mentor Finance Business Partners daily.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Extensive experience at a senior level in a comparable position
- Experience in financial management including preparing/setting budget estimates, management reports and monitoring performance within a large organisation.
- Degree in Accounting discipline
- Strong budgeting/reporting and financial modelling skills
- CPA or CA Qualified or studying towards
