About the role
We are seeking an organised, fair and results-focused leader with high integrity to take on this refreshed role of Team Leader Public Spaces Compliance. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting compliant use of public spaces and responsible companion animal management for the benefit of community safety and well-being, environmental health and public amenity.
As the Team Leader, you will guide and develop the Public Spaces Compliance Team to deliver efficient, consistent and ethical enforcement, compliance and animal management services. You will play a central role in developing and refining operational procedures, strengthening team capability, and fostering a compliance culture built on integrity, effective communication, fairness and informed decision-making.
Working across companion animal management, parking and public space regulation, impounding, investigations and community education, this role offers variety, challenge and genuine opportunity to make a positive community impact.
