Position Overview
As the Recycling and Waste – Digital Content Planner & Producer, you will be at the forefront of our waste and resource recovery educational and engagement initiatives, particularly focusing on our Food Organics & Garden Organics (FOGO) collection service and Community Recycling Centre (CRC). Your expertise in content planning and production will help us effectively communicate our waste management strategies, driving community involvement and awareness.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging web and social media content, creating compelling video materials, and ensuring our digital platforms are informative and user-friendly. By aligning your efforts with our operational management and community outreach campaigns, you will contribute significantly to fostering a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment.
Your Unique Contribution
We are seeking a creative and analytical thinker who is passionate about sustainability and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Industry or TAFE training in Social Media.
- A valid Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Proven experience in executing multi-faceted marketing campaigns across various channels.
- A knack for developing innovative and engaging digital content tailored to our community's needs.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
In addition to these core competencies, experience within the waste services industry and local government will be highly regarded. Your ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple projects will be crucial as we work together to promote our waste recovery initiatives.

- Package:$93,854 - $99489 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Temporary full-time position (12 months) 35 hours per week with the option of 19 day month
